English Eve starts new journey |
|
“Going to Introducing God, I felt the penny drop”
It’s been a big two years for Eve Dirago - around the world and from death to life in 12 months. Now her journey really begins.
Eve moved from England to Australia in 2003 to be with Sydneysider
Geoffrey, who she had met on a previous trip, and the pair were married
in April this year.
They heard about a course called Introducing God that was about
to kick off at local Anglican church, All Saints North Epping, and
decided to go along.

"It's not presumptuous or arrogant in any way"
Mark
Hanson, was trying to encourage some of his church's key lay leaders to
think strategically about church growth, so when he saw an
advertisement for an information session on Introducing God, he went
along.
"We sat down this time last year to do the
training. The lay leaders really ran with the program," Mark says.
"It's not a clergy centred thing at all." Mark says he's excited by the
opportunity to allow others participate in the ministry of the church.

But Introducing God’s author
Dominic Steele says what caught the Today Show’s eye was people
thinking and talking about God in the place they least expected – the
