Introducing God in the Lounge room or Small Group
Most people using Introducing God for the first time run a ‘lounge room’ or ‘small group’ course, using the DVDs. It’s easy to organise, relaxed and guests feel free to ‘say what they really think’ because the presenter is not right there in the room (but removed slightly on the television).
Introducing God in the large group setting.
Introducing God could be used as the main plank of your church’s evangelistic strategy for the year. The church hosts a live presentation with a gifted evangelist giving the talks in a restaurant, golf club or function centre (using Introducing God talk scripts, multimedia, PowerPoint and participant’s handbooks).
Introducing God One to One.
You could watch the DVD together with a family member or friend and then talk over the content afterwards. We have found Introducing God has really opened up ‘peer to peer' evangelism and even ‘subordinate to elder' evangelism because you are not putting yourself up as the teacher—but just engaging in relaxed discussion about input you have watched from a third party (using DVD and participant’s handbooks).
Introducing God for Youth.
Youth Group leaders are using Introducing God with their groups then hosting a discussion.
Introducing God for business.
The videos are short and so with good planning Introducing God is working well with company Christian groups hosting Introducing God lunchtime courses.
Introducing God on in the summer.
Beach and Summer Mission teams are using the shortened version of Introducing God as the basis for their adult programs.
Christian groups at university, school, hospital or prison are running Introducing God as their evangelistic outreach course.
